Great book for using a great camera!

I cannot say enough good about is book! I picked up one of the first P900's to hit Houston, TX right after the release date and have been having a blast learning how to use the camera to its best advantage. I had been reading the Nikon manual since before the launch and read it again after getting the camera. The Nikon manual is very helpful in understanding how to change settings, etc., but this book explains what the settings mean and the implications of using them. White gives useful examples with accompanying example pics. When you read the book, read the 200+ page Nikon manual along with it. If you buy a P900, be sure to buy this book!

I really do love this Series & this Author. The 1st book in this series was Awesome & the 2nd was freakin spectacular!! Willow was little spitfire, love her & Lyonis.......who does'nt love a smokin hott Alpha with a huge heart? This novel was non-stop action & sexual tension from start to finish. I love this cast of charaters. cant wait for lilly's story! Dont miss out on the series, its a must read & T.A. Grey should definitly be on your favorites list =D

I absolutly LOVE this author! I have read all her books in a week and cant wait for more! This is the second sister book and they just keep getting better! I love the turmoil within Willow and making a comitment with her Sexy shapshifter! I am like how the book focuses on more than one carecter love story and actually ties everyone together and keeps us up todate on the main caracters from the previus book! Again this is a great book that will keep you wanting more and I really recommend becoming freinds with T A Grey on facebook! Her interaction with you as a friend is amazing! Speaking from a medical student standpoint: makes residents wonder where you're getting your information and bridges the knowledge gap between students and PGY1 radiologists. This book is great at covering relevant anatomy for all the radiological subspecialties. Additionally, this book delves into some physics and how-it-works stuff. Most importantly, this book provides students with differentials so that they can withstand pimping during the radiology rotation.

Learning spaces offer a rigorous mathematical foundation for various practical systems of knowledge assessment. An example is offered by the ALEKS system (Assessment and LEarning in Knowledge Spaces), a software for the assessment of mathematical knowledge. From a mathematical standpoint, learning spaces as well as knowledge spaces (which made the title of the first edition) generalize partially ordered sets. They are investigated both from a combinatorial and a stochastic viewpoint. The results are applied to real and simulated data. The book gives a systematic presentation of research and extends the results to new situations. It is of interest to mathematically oriented readers in education, computer science and combinatorics at research and graduate levels. About the Author
Jean-Paul Doignon is a professor at the mathematics department of the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium. His research covers various aspects of discrete mathematics (graphs, ordered sets, convex polytopes, etc.) and applications to behavioral sciences (preference modeling, choice representation, knowledge assessment, etc.). Jean-Claude Falmagne is emeritus professor of cognitive sciences at the University of California, Irvine. His research interests span various areas, focusing on the application of mathematics to educational technology, psychophysics, choice theory, and the philosophy of science, in particular measurement theory.

Excellent, well written book that puts adaptive learning on a solid foundation. While it's geared for an R&D person - it is well written with plenty of examples and motivations for application in developing and improving existing or envisioned adaptive learning systems. Well done!
