The Bride Who Wouldn't

This is a Honeymoon Novella. It is book 1.
This story is set in Paris.
It is the story of Kate Edwards and Isaak Zaretsky.
Kate has been helping her friend, Ivor, study his genealogy. He has some family mysteries that need solved. Kate's family business is failing, and Ivor decides to try to help Kate with this. He has made a contract for one year of marriage in exchange for money to help get the family business out of debt. There will be no sex and they will only appear married when they are in the public eye. Before the wedding can take place, Ivor suddenly dies.
Isaak, who is Ivor's nephew, has knowledge of the contract. He tells Kate she can either pay back the money or agree to marry him. Kate, having no way of paying back the money, contacts her mother. Her mother, only thinking of herself, thinks it is a good idea to have Kate marry Isaak instead to keep the money for the business.
After she agrees to marry Isaak, they head to Paris to honeymoon. There they find out some answers to things in Isaak's family that were not known. They also discover a hidden desire and passion for each other. Is there honeymoon pretend? Or is it more real than either of them know? Did Ivor set a plan in motion before his death that would bring Kate and Isaak together?
I enjoyed this story immensely. It was fast paced, intriguing, and grabbed my attention early in the story. I will definitely read more from author Carol Marinelli.

In order to save her family's antique business, Kate Edwards agrees to and accepts payment for a one-year, sexless, loveless marriage to Ivor Zaretsky. Unfortunately, Ivor dies before they are married. Since Kate has already spent the money, it is left up to Ivor's nephew, Isaak, to come up with a suitable arrangement. Tired of his own ruthless, playboy ways, he offers Kate the same deal and she is forced to accept. The Bride Who Wouldn't by Carol Marinella is the first in a new series of Honeymoon novellas. Be warned, this is one hot and spicy read! Although spicier than I am used to, I thought the story was very well done. The plot is interesting and has depth and there are a few different storylines woven throughout. If you can handle to heat, I would recommend it.

The Bride Who Wouldn't by Carol Marinelli is quite the smoky hot story. It’s much more that a normal classic romance. It’s quite “hot” and very well written. It flows so easily of the pages and you don’t want to put it down before reading it all the way through.
It’ my first story by Carol Marinelli but I enjoyed reading this one and will pick up another one soon.

A simple read that WILL help you fish better...

I purchased and read this book in preparation of being guided by Eric on the "Little J" river in Central PA. The book was a great read, and I'm glad I read it before spending 8 hours on the water with him. It was excellent preparation for what he was going too be showing me on the river and boy does his system work! No joking... Every time I handed my fly rod to Eric to have him demonstrate something for me, he caught a fish. Every single time! Never seen anything like it before.

Even if you're unable to get out on the water with Eric personally, get this book. His principles on tight line nymphing are amazing and really work.

As an aside, he's also convinced me to start tying my own leaders. Every reason I could come up with for using machine tapered leaders were tossed out the window once I tried one of his leaders. The formulas for his leaders are also included in the book.

Concise advice

This informative little book provides some great advice for all but the most experienced fly fishermen. The author concentrates largely on the importance of getting a good drift whether nymphing sub-surface or floating high and dry. He also covers tandem rigs and leader construction. The author resides in central Pennsylvania and guides on the fine trout streams of the region.

Good Common Sense Fly Fishing

I had heard Eric talk about fishing out in his area and how he thought these 7 lessons would help most fishers or are ones they tend to forget. He covers some great tips to looking at water and what trout are wanting for food, which is what most new fly fishers have trouble with. I think this could be a good book for new fly fishers who are getting more indepth to their sport. Not saying it is the best, but a good one.
